That's the foundation of our government - that the people control the government, we grant ourselves the right to liberty and self-government, and the U.S. Constitution was created with the wisdom to limit governmental overreach and protect us from tyranny.  AS YOUR NEXT STATE SENATOR, I promise to let our U.S. Constitution and the State of Indiana Constitution guide my decisions. I will dedicate myself to learning the meaning and intent of our founding documents.
